I couldn't have said it better myself!
Here's a quote by famous Chinese Artist Wu Guangzhong on painting with oils and inks. I would love to have come up with something so eloquent to say about my painting media (in my case, acrylic and inks). However, the reason why I paint in both media is just because I get bored doing the one thing all time!

I feel so much peace and joy when I look at your work, Chris. What a joy it must be for you to watch your visions emerge, no matter the medium.
ReplyDeleteHi Alice, Thanks for your lovely comment. It is scary and exciting when I first painting a new piece. But once it starts, I can feel something wonderful take over and I get into a 'zone' where I can get lost for hours.
