Desk Snapshot
It feels weird painting traditional roses especially when I am surrounded by all these wonderful tropical flowers here in CM. Not so strange I guess when I think in the next month or so I will be painting some Christmas stuff soon in 45C heat!!

Just beautiful Chris ... I remember listening to a talk you gave and looking through your portfolio for a prof. prac. class at RMIT many years ago and thinking then how insanely talented you were - since then I've been such a fan of yours - am I gushing? I don't mean too, I just really admire your work and your style. It sounds like you have settled in to your new home well and I can't wait to see how the new surroundings inspire your work ...
ReplyDeleteHi Allison, Lovely to hear from you. You've made my day with your 'gushing' comments! How's the botany course going - have you started yet? It sounds like an amazing course.
ReplyDeleteWould also love to do a post on you sometime too to show everyone how beautiful your artwork! Cx
